Visiting Ireland

If you are a quilter and are planning to visit Ireland, we would suggest some or all of the following to get the most from your trip.

• Attend one of our branch meetings to meet other quilters, participate in Show and Tell and see demonstrations.


• Many fabric and quilting shops in Ireland attend our branch meetings as well as advertising in our newsletter.

We have monthly branch meetings taking place all over Ireland. Details of upcoming branch events, including shops that will be attending are available on our Branch Diaries. A small fee is payable to attend.

We would in addition suggest visiting the Crafts Council of Ireland site for all upcoming craft exhibitions and details of craft organisations, including embroidery, lace and feltmaker organisations. In particular, we recommend a visit to the National Craft Gallery, design store and café in Kilkenny.
